Professional Migrant Women Group PTY LDT (“PMW”) is committed to protecting the information about you that we collect, store and use.

We have adopted the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (the Privacy Act). The NPPs govern how we collect, use, disclose, store, secure and dispose of your Personal Information.

This Privacy Policy sets out how Professional Migrant Women handles information and the rights and obligations of both you and Professional Migrant Women concerning your personal information.

Collection and Use of Your Personal Information

PMW collects personal information when you register with PMW or participate in our events, courses, program and other PMW related activities. This may include, but is not limited to, contact information such as your name, address, phone number and contact details, birth date, gender, payment and account details, occupation, events photos, online session photos, chat comments, hobbies and interests.


You are not anonymous to us when you log into www.ProfessionalMigrantWomen.com.au (the “Site”). PMW may collect information about your transactions with us, our merchants and our business partners.


PMW also receives and records information from your internet browser and computer, including IP addresses, cookies (see section 2 below), software and hardware attributes and your page requests.


It is your responsibility to advise us of any changes to your personal details to ensure we can keep our records complete, accurate and up to date.

We will collect information directly from you, and may also collect data on your internet behaviour from Facebook and from one or more web advertising analytics platforms. The Site may contain links to third party websites including partner networks, advertisers, and Stripe. If you follow a link to any of these websites, note that they have their own privacy policies. If you use our website to link to another site you will be subject to that Site’s terms and conditions of use, privacy policy and security statement. PMW does not control, and does not accept any responsibility or liability for, the privacy policy of, and use of personal information by, any party other than PMW, including any buyer or seller utilising PMW’ services and the operators of any website to which the Site links.

 

Marketing

If you make a purchase from the Site, PMW may give you the opportunity to receive updates on our latest products, services, news and special offers, as well as those of other service providers in partnership with us, via e-mail, post or telephone (“Marketing Material”). When you register with PMW you will also be given the opportunity to elect (‘opt-in’) to receive Marketing Material from PMW and other service providers. We will not pass on, or on-sell your personal information to third-party providers of goods or services without your consent (unless we are required to do so by law).


You may, at any time, opt-out of receiving Marketing Material. To opt-out, go to the ‘Unsubscribe’ link on the Newsletter and update your preferences. or contact us directly. If you no longer consent to receive Marketing Material, you must opt-out in one of these ways.

 

Administrative Communications

PMW reserves the right to send you administrative and account-related messages that you may not opt-out of. To cease all communications to you from PMW you must close down your PMW account.

We will allow you, at any time, to access, edit, update and/ or delete the personal information that we hold about you, unless we are legally permitted or required to deny you access and/or to retain the information.
