Homecoming: A Group Art Exhibition

arrow

Amalgamated by PMW’s network, the artists showing at • Homecoming • are not connected by an aesthetic but by a shared story of migration. Each piece aims to reflect the profound role of family – biological or chosen – in the artists’ migrant journey and the meaning of home, portraying poignant narratives of love, loss, and resilience.

Combining seasoned creators and first-timers, the exhibition showcases a range of voices, perspectives and mediums, weaving together a multilayered fabric of narratives that highlights the diversity within the migrant community.

With this intersectional + intergenerational exhibition, we hope to open a platform for dialogue and understanding. It invites the attendees to engage with these stories, fostering empathy, understanding, and a sense of community.

The artworks serve as a medium for conversations about migration, identity, and belonging, encouraging viewers to reflect on their own perceptions and experiences.
