Our Events
At Professional Migrant Women, events are where community comes to life.
They are spaces where migrant women connect with peers, learn from inspiring leaders and strengthen the networks that support their professional growth.
Signature Events
March | International Women’s Day
A flagship International Women’s Day event centred on gender equity and inclusive leadership. Hosted by NAB, the 2026 Melbourne event brought together around 150 attendees, featuring one keynote speaker and 14 table facilitators, creating space for meaningful and practical conversations on equity.
June | She-Suite Gala Night
In collaboration with the City of Melbourne, this elegant gala dinner celebrates the visibility, confidence and leadership of professional migrant women. The She-Suite Gala connects aspiring and mid-career professionals with C-suite female executives for an evening of meaningful connection. Following strong interest in 2025 inaugural event, with more than 100 expressions of interest, we’re securing a larger venue to welcome around 200 attendees in 2026.
October | PMW Anniversary Celebration
A milestone celebration honouring PMW’s journey, impact and community. This event recognises the women and partners who have shaped PMW’s growth, while also looking ahead to the future of inclusive leadership and collective impact.
In 2026, the event will be hosted across Australia’s major cities, where we will present the findings of our research on the migrant women gender pay gap.

Ask the recruiter
Monthly practical sessions designed to accelerate career progression.
Led by different guest experts each month, these masterclasses cover themes such as leadership, personal branding, negotiation and strategic growth, among others.
Speakers gain visibility within our national community, and participants leave with practical tools they can apply immediately.
A curated monthly intimate conversation featuring senior executives, founders, academics and changemakers.
Each session offers an honest, in-depth discussion about leadership journeys, cultural navigation, career transitions and the realities of building influence in Australia.
A live, interactive session providing direct access to experienced recruiters across different industries.
Each month, a guest recruiter shares real-time market insights, hiring trends and in-demand skills, followed by an open Q&A where participants can ask candid questions about CVs, interviews, local experience, salary expectations and recruitment practices in Australia.
