An Emerging Culture Creator

Being named one of Culture Amp’s 25 Emerging Culture Creators for 2025 globally is an incredible honour—one that I accept with deep gratitude, not just for myself but for the professional migrant women whose resilience and contributions inspire me every day. This recognition is more than a title; it’s a commitment—to building communities of support, to advocating for justice, solidarity, and inclusion, and to creating spaces where everyone belongs.

At Professional Migrant Women (PMW), we are fostering a culture rooted in justice, solidarity, and sorority. We believe that when migrant women thrive, we all thrive. Yet, we know that success isn’t just about individual achievements—it’s about the communities we build, the doors we open, and the voices we amplify. Every day, I witness migrant women navigating new cultures, overcoming biases, and rebuilding their professional identities in a foreign land. Their skills and talents are an asset to our society, and their stories deserve to be heard.

Building Communities of Support

In today’s world, where uncertainty, lack of compassion, and fear dominate the global conversation, our work in accessibility, diversity, equity, and justice becomes even more crucial. Creating a better future isn’t a solo endeavor; it’s a collective effort that requires intentional action and continuous advocacy.

  • Persevere even when the road feels tough and uncertain.

  • Stay focused on the vision of a world where everyone has an equal opportunity to thrive.

  • Have clarity of purpose in everything you do.

  • Surround yourself with people who share your vision and can help you get to the next level.

This work can be challenging, but it is also deeply rewarding. Advocacy requires courage—it means showing up, speaking out, and standing firm, even when it feels scary. I remain committed to protecting women’s rights, advocating for workplace equity, and pushing for more inclusive spaces where people from all backgrounds can grow and contribute.

The Power of Visibility and Representation

The visibility of diverse voices in leadership is not just symbolic; it has tangible effects on policy, workplace culture, and opportunities for underrepresented communities. Representation matters because it shapes what is possible. When migrant women step into leadership roles, they redefine what success looks like and pave the way for future generations.

At PMW, we focus on fostering self-leadership, confidence, and storytelling to help migrant women own their narratives and build their careers. Every workshop, mentorship session, and networking event serves as a step toward a more inclusive, representative workforce that values diverse perspectives and lived experiences.

A Call to Action

To my community—you are my constant source of inspiration. Your determination, your courage, and your dreams fuel my work. Together, we are rewriting the narrative, breaking barriers, and showing the world the strength and talent of migrant women.

This recognition from Culture Amp is a reminder that every effort, every voice, and every step forward matters. Let’s continue paving the way for those who come after us. Let’s keep building workplaces and communities where everyone is seen, valued, and empowered to lead.

Thank you to Culture Amp for celebrating workplace culture champions and for shining a light on those working to open doors for others. Here’s to the journey ahead!
