Migrant Women On Temporary Visas – Understanding Your Rights And Access To Support Services
The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is an annual international campaign that kicks off on 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and runs until 10 December, Human Rights Day. During the 16 Days of Activism, people around the world will unite to raise awareness about gender-based violence, challenge discriminatory attitudes and call for improved laws and services to end violence against women for good.
For this occasion PMW has partnered with the City of Melbourne, to host an information session led with Ela Stewart, Policy Officer from Intouch and Michal Kedem, Lawyer from Inner Melbourne Community Legal.
